HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Saxophonist Trey Daniels is a native of Tampa, FL but currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Trey was born prematurely at 2lbs 8oz., and wasn’t supposed to live but he miraculously survived. With this second chance at life, he wanted to positively impact as many people as possible through his music. By the age of 30, Trey has already headlined jazz festivals, released his debut album, Evolve (Reached Billboard Smooth Jazz Top 25 Charts), and was afforded the opportunity to be Anita Baker’s solo saxophonist during her Farewell World Tour. Trey currently is working on his next album and will be coming to a city near you in the upcoming future!
Trey was born in Tampa, Florida as a premature baby (2.8 oz) that could not breathe on his own.
Trey’s first time picking up the saxophone was in the 6th grade at Progress Village Magnet School.
In 2003, Trey performed at his first public performance with the City of Tampa.
After graduating college in 2011, Trey worked at Office Depot. In 2013, Trey left his job working at Office Depot to become a full-time musician.
In 2016, Trey had his 1st Nationally televised performance for the NFL.
Trey got the call to go on the road with the 8x Grammy Award Winning Songstress, Anita Baker.
Trey released his debut album “EVOLVE”
